By accessing or using the SACaptions mobile application ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Account Usage & Platform Security
- Authorized Usage: To ensure the integrity of our Service and maintain a fair environment for all creators, usage is limited to one unique account per physical device.
- Security Restrictions: Our platform utilizes proprietary detection methods to identify and prevent the creation of multiple accounts on a single device. Any attempt to circumvent these security measures may result in the immediate restriction or termination of your account.
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
2. Subscriptions & Billing
- Trial Period: We may offer a limited trial period for new users to evaluate our premium features. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or terminate trial access and usage limits at any time.
- Transaction Management: All subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed through the official Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Billing, payments, and refund requests are governed by the respective platform’s terms and policies.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your device’s store settings. Access to premium features will remain active until the conclusion of your current billing period.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
- User Ownership: You retain full ownership and all intellectual property rights to the video and audio content you process or create using our Service. SACaptions claims no ownership over your creative output.
- Proprietary Technology: The Service, including but not limited to its design, user interface, proprietary animation sequences, and underlying source code, is the exclusive property of SACaptions and is protected by international copyright laws.
4. Prohibited Conduct
As a condition of your use of the Service, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with any security-related features or usage limits of the Service.
- Utilize the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harmful, or violates the intellectual property rights of any third party.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary animation technology of the application for any purpose.
5. Service Accuracy & Disclaimer
- Transcription Quality: Our proprietary processing technology is designed for high precision, generally achieving approximately 98% transcription accuracy under standard conditions.
- User Review Required: You acknowledge that despite our high standards, automated processing may occasionally result in minor errors, including spelling mistakes or timing offsets. We provide built-in editing tools to allow you to review and finalize all content before export.
- As-Is Basis: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be 100% accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted at all times.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SACaptions and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of the revised terms.
